What the Heart Knows Book Tour
Mara works with organizations to create “Chari-Tea” events. To celebrate this year’s “Heart Day,” Mara worked with Unity Shoppe in Santa Barbara to co-create a truly extraordinary event that would raise funds, raise awareness, celebrate an ingenious charity, and create an elegant, fun gathering.
Held at the historic La Casa Nichita, the beautifully catered tea allowed guests to tour the famous home, enjoy delectable treats, hear a brief talk by Unity Shoppe’s Director as well as Mara’s keynote address “Unity of Head and Heart.”

What the Heart Knows Book Tour
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Mara and her friend and fellow Central-Coast California author Sandy Nathan (www.SandyNathan.com) did a joint talk about Writing From the Heart, and signed their books at the Book Loft in Solvang, California.
Founded in 1970 by owner Kathy Mullins, the legendary store has been on the A-list for authors on tour for decades.
