Heard any good books lately? That may “sound” like an odd question. Maybe the last time someone read you a story, you were seven years old trying to keep your eyes open long enough to hear the ending. But audio is sweeping the nation, so if you haven’t become a listener yet, you may soon find yourself in the minority.
As an author — what does this mean to you? It means you have an opportunity for market exposure, an expanded audience, and increased sales if you produce your existing books as audio books. Sounds simple! And it is . . . sort of. If done right, your audio books can give you, your brand, and your success a turbo boost. However, if done wrong, you risk damaging all the work you’ve done so far.
